My name is Keanu Tadao Kumagai and I am going to talk about my experiences as a military child. When I was around the age of 11 I stopped caring about leaving my friends and my school. Now I’m more interested in knowing where me and my family are headed to and if we're going to be with my older siblings. Every now and then I would think of my old friends and because of social media I’m able to talk to them online. This is the reason why I began to not care that much about leaving my friends to head to another state or country. Furthermore, traveling to new places is really fun and interesting as you get to experience new things.
