When I think about adventures and making new friends, it reminds me of being a military child. Not all people like to be a military child, but I like being a military child. I live in Okinawa, a small place where you can learn new languages and try new food that you have never tried in your life. You can live in a new house. I live in an apartment. When I go in my house, I think it is big. I can go outside and climb on the tree. But the sad thing is your family has to go to deployment, like my dad. He is going on deployment in summer. He is going to stay there for six months, and I will miss my dad when he is gone. You have to lose your friends, like my friend Hazel and Loretta. You also have to leave your teacher like my teacher. I still like being a military child. You can get a new teacher and make new friends. That is why being a military child is fun and not fun.
