Month of the Military Child

When I think of military children I think of my friends. I have moved around the states and a little bit of everywhere! Moving can be hard but very rewarding. Every time you move you have to say goodbye to good friends, but after a while of being a military child you learn how to make friends very quickly. When my family and I first moved to South Korea I was upset about leaving friends behind but I am SO happy that I moved here, I have met so many people, made so many friends, and I met the best teacher! It was a big adjustment to move from the states to overseas. The bad thing was I had to put the majority of my belongings in long term storage, and it took a long time for my things to arrive, temporarily living with very little was still hard. Everywhere I have moved I have seen so many military children so I know that every military child goes through the same thing I do! I love Korea, I have met dozens of friends, and I love my teacher. If I hadn’t moved here I wouldn’t have had my teacher and I wouldn’t have met these friends. I love being a military child. Being a military child can be tough and complicated but I am honored to be one!
