As a Military Child it can be hard to understand your feelings. It could be hard to understand feelings because of what sometimes happens in our personal lives. Events like deployment, moving, and switching bases. All of these events can lead to sadness or anger. But as a Military Child we have to sometimes learn how to deal with these things in order to keep our cool.
For myself, keeping my cool is hard. Especially when I know my Mom is gone for 50 more days of deployment. Or when I have to say goodbye to all of my friends. But to all the Military Children out there, you should sometimes consider this as a privilege. The reason you should consider this as a privilege is because not a lot of people get to travel the world like we do. So next time you think this is the worst thing in the world, just live in the moment for the 2-3 years you have there.
This is why in my mind being a Military Child is a privilege!
