Being a military child is hard. Making friends because you're a new student, and nobody knows you and it can be uncomfortable. I know the feeling because I was a new student before, so supporting a military child is important. Some sources like counselors can help us get used to our new school. Our family and friends could also support us by giving encouraging words. I have also moved a lot because my dad is in the Army. I get support from my friends and family. I have moved to five different places, it was difficult to leave all my friends. Whenever I went to my new school I was nervous, but after a little while I felt better. This DODEA school is different, I became comfortable faster, because most of the friends were my friends in 4th grade. This year, I have also made new friends.
