I always knew I was different. Sence I was a child my parents have been upfront with the fact that we are military. I’ve known friends and homes come and go. I’ve known there is little a reason to try to embed myself in a community. It will all be torn away from me eventually anyway. It really hit home about 6 years back when i lived off base and everyone knew each other and had friend groups and everything, I couldn’t get in any circles. But other than that I have always knew and understood what being a military child meant.
