In my opinion, being a military kid is sometimes hard, but mostly fun. Although it is hard to say goodbye to my friends because I have to move a lot, I get to live in different places and the military even pays for it! For example, I was born in Alaska and then I moved to England. Now I live in Okinawa, and I am in second grade.

My family likes to go to the pool and the beach. We like to go to the beach when it is wavy because we can ride our boogie boards. When we are not at the beach, we are at the swimming pool. We all like to go down the waterslide. My family likes to keep cool in summer because it is super-HOT in Okinawa! As you can see, my life as a military kid is okay.
