I have several reasons why I like being a military child. They are traveling, learning new languages, and going to new schools. The one that I think is the most fun is learning new languages because there are so many languages that I could learn such as Japanese, Spanish, and even Chinese. I like traveling because I get to see new places such as Okinawa, Virginia, and even California. I like California because that is where I am from and where I grew up. Then I moved to Virginia for 3 years, then moved to Okinawa. I like Okinawa because it has interesting beaches, for example Araha, White Beach, and Okuma. It also has cool playgrounds for example, Pirate Ship, Peace Prayer Park, and a cool one called Bios on a Hill. I like going to new schools because I get to make new friends even though it is hard leaving some behind. I also like new schools because I like learning new things like in second grade I learned how to subtract big numbers. In third grade I learned about fractions even though it was hard for me to learn at first. Now in third grade, I am the Classroom President which means I have lots of responsibilities.
Some reasons why I don’t like being a military child are because most of the time everyone moves and some of the people that move are my friends. I also do not like flying because the turbulence makes me sick. I like it when I finally get to my new destination.
In the end I think being a military child is fun and stressful at the same time.
I think being a Military child is AWESOME!
