Have you ever been a military child? Well I have! Sometimes it’s fun and sometimes it’s challenging! Being a military child can be difficult because I have to leave my friends and family. For example, military children have to move a lot. They have to leave schools, teachers and the places that you call home. We have to leave our families too. I miss my cousins! Another challenging part of military life is that sometimes my parents have to go on deployment. My mom had to go on deployment and I was very sad, but when she got back, I was so happy! She was so happy that she started crying, but in a happy way. There are positive and happy things about being a military child. We get to do new things, meet new people, and travel to different countries. In fact, I’ve been to a lot of places! I have lived in California, Virginia, South Carolina and Okinawa Japan! I love moving! When I move, I get to meet new people, get new homes and get new teachers. I am so happy that I met my techers Mrs.Cooper and Ms.Crawford. Being a military child is hard but sometimes it can be easy! Do you like being a military child?
