Sometimes, being a military child is amazing because you get to go on adventures and meet new people from all over the world! Other times it can be hard for everyone.

When living in Japan, I attended a DODEA School. There, I got to meet my amazing teacher, Mrs. Crawford, and I also got to meet Ms. Sutherland, my amazing principal.Ms. Crawford won the whole Pacific Ocean’s Veterans Teacher of the Year Award for 2023! I also get to go to APPS. Mr.D is the APPS teacher. In APPS, we do Mystery Science and learn a lot of stuff.

I know how hard it is to be a military child because my dad has to leave all the time. For example, my mom said that before I was born, my dad had to leave for two years! I think of how hard it must be for all of you when your mom or dad leaves for training because I go through it too. It can be really sad and stressful. In a few days, my dad leaves again for two weeks!

My conclusion is that sometimes being a military child can be cool, sad, awesome and exciting!
