I love being a military child because I get to move around more often and into new houses. For example, my house in California was very nice. I love having sleepovers in my friends house when my mom is gone or when she allows me too. I like going to new schools when we move because I get a new teacher. For example, my wonderful teacher named Mrs. Smalls. She is very kind and nice. I love her as a teacher because of the wonderful things she does for my class. I also like when I move to new places and get to learn about new cultures. For example when I moved to Okinawa I learned how to make origami in second grade and third grade.
Being a military child I get to try new things. I also like trying new foods such as sushi, dumplings, and macaroons. I also love the food at the Food Court in Parco City. They have such good Boba, it has chocolate inside. It is so good and yummy. Another thing that is good in Okinawa is the Okinawa restaurants such as Sushi Go Round, Lawsons, and Family Mart.
One thing I don't like about being a military child is when I have to say goodbye to my friends or when they have to say goodbye to me. It is sad but I may see them again in a different school. I don't like it when I have to leave behind some of my favorite places either. For example, I don't like it when I have to learn about new places where I move to and figure out what I like and what I don’t like.
I love being a military child but it can be a little bit hard to be a military child in my opinion.
