Being a military child is fun and sad because you can travel to new places but you also have to leave your friends behind.For example, I lived in Florida in the USA and Okinawa Japan.Okinawa Japan is a tropical island, my school is right next to the beach! I like to go eat sushi with my parents every time we go out to eat.Being a military child is fun because you can eat new food that you haven’t tried yet.For example, my favorite food in Okinawa Japan is big fluffy pancakes they are bigger than youshuwil it is twice as bigger than realgar pancakes. Another thing I enjoy about being a military child is that I get to go to new schools and make lots of new friends there. For example, I met Ace, who is really good at soccer which is my favorite sport. Also, I met Liam who I like to talk with during class.

One thing I don’t like about being a military child is leaving my friends behind because I always leave my friends behind every time I leave the island. Another thing I do not like about being a military child is when my dad leaves for training in Korea. I am proud of my dad because he gets promoted but I hate when he has to leave the island or move far away .

Being a military child is hard but worth it over time because in the end I can see my parents again.
