It is challenging to be a military child because you have to travel around the world because our parents serve the military and when you do we only stay for at least 2-3 years in that country or state. Whenever you do get into another state or country you could make friends but not for long because you would have to go to another place after a couple of years again. Also some military children could not see their parents for a long time because they could be deployed. Some good things about being a military child is that we can see different types of cultures when we are traveling. Another good thing is that we could see the differences between our home town and the place we traveled to for example our home town could have different types of food then the place we traveled to or different house designs.

Some interesting things that also happened when I was traveling is that one time I was at the park playing with my friends and I started to climb the slide but fell off and broke my arm. From that day I had to wear a cast for 4 months and did not want to climb anything again but somehow I did not know that I broke my arm for 3 days when I fell. Whenever I travel I also see different types of food wherever I am on the map such as burgers, onigiri, tacos, ramen, and sushi. Also something very hard for us is that we have to unpack lots of boxes because everywhere we go we get new things like toys. In conclusion it is hard to be a military child because of all the traveling.
