Being a military child is hard because they have to move often and because of that it is sad for them to have to leave their friends behind to go to a new place. Military children always move unexpectedly as well, and because of that kids have to move so suddenly they have to leave their friends behind. That can be mentally challenging for them. It has also occurred to some people to not even know where their home is because of the constant moving from place to place. As a kid leaving friends and even family is heart breaking even as adults. Although military kids have to deal with this problem all the time it is not so easy to get used to.

Let this article also state that since a military child's dad/mom is in the military they constantly have to say goodbye to their dad/mom. Growing up it is essential to have a guardian or parents with you and notice how it said parents with an s. It says that because usually there is only one parent with the military child because the dad/mom is gone with their duties. Being a military child is very challenging because of how often you have to say goodbye to family and friends. Having new scenery is not always bad but some people may be stressed that they are not used to this new area and can have a hard time fitting in like learning the language spoken in that area. This is why being a military child is hard.
