Dear Joe, I’ve been really lonely ever since I left Seattle. I haven’t made any friends or even met anyone who could be a potential friend. I feel so weird at school, since I came in the middle of April and nobody knows me. It sucks here, and I feel like none of my teachers like me, not to mention my unwelcoming classmates. My parents keep telling me that they do like me and to not worry, that everything will be okay, but I don’t think that I’ll be able to feel that way until I’m at least able to talk to you again. I wish I had you back to do homework with, back to play with, back to talk with. What I’m saying is that I really miss you, and I really want to come back. So please, write as soon as you can.
