When you hear “Military Child”, what comes to mind?

Just hear me out, give a moment of your time.

Children of heroes, warriors, and defenders,

Just let that sit, take a few to consider.

People give their life day after day,

To defend a country, keep the bad people away.

Children. Waiting for Mom or Dad to come home,

Knowing in their mind that they’re lucky and it shows.

And in the end, the child of a soldier,

Remember what they stood for while they grow older.

They know it’s a reason to be proud, a reason to smile,

And to be proud to be a Military Child.
