A curve ball has been thrown

Toss away those future plans

And hope the world throws you a bone

Families are yet again strained

As the distance continues to extend

Hope to keep connections strong

And hope they never end

Another chance to start anew

And put on another face

Or to act as if nothing has changed

And pretend that you are in the same place

No options left to back out

Or ways to stop it all

Just keep yourself positive

And make the most of it
