One more year until I am ready to walk the stage

Diploma almost in hand

I’ve been waiting three years for this exact moment and I

But am I ready to receive it

All of my hard work and effort, starting as a freshman now almost a senior, has led me here

Tireless hours of studying for AP classes

Countless hours of practicing getting the right hit on the ball

All leading me to one very moment

Now, onwards and upwards

To a new campus I go

Awaiting my talents and gifts once I arrive

Away, away I shall go, with my diploma in hand
