I look back to when I was a freshman

I was ready to be a senior and graduate high school and live my dream of being a musician

All the friends I had made, all there by my side ready to join my parade

Just before my senior year, I moved to Japan

I was upset and told my parents not again

Now it’s my senior year, I look back on all the people I have met

I do not think I am ready to leave just quite yet

I am thankful for my teachers for helping me

Without them, I do not know where I would be

All my classmates and closest friends there with me for smiles

The amount of memories I have, all in many piles

50th graduating class, that is a lot to take in

Now that I am graduating from this class, it feels like a win

I have met some the kindest people here

I will keep them all in my heart, near and dear
