“Jackson, shut up and start packing. I'm in the military so we only get 2 years at a time at each place” As a military child, you have to move a lot sometimes it’s fun to move to different places, but when you have a lot of friends, moving is your worst nightmare. It could be a benefit because you could travel a lot more and make more friends in different places so if you move back to a place you were, then you would have friends there. It was January 14, 2020, I was ten years old and we were moving from Utah to Japan. I was staying at my grandparents house till it was time to move. As my mom and my dad came to pick me up my brother and I said our goodbyes to our friends and grandparents. As we entered the airport we went straight through security and it was really nice because the guards were really nice to us but we couldn't understand them. As we got to our gate we sat down and waited there. After about 20 minutes of waiting it felt like we'd been waiting to board for years. As we boarded the plane we got in our seats. I really like my seat because I had the window so I can see when we take off and land. The first hour of the plane ride it felt like it took a century to land but the service was nice. We had a tv and we got food on the plane. We got lunch and dinner but lunch wasn't that good tho. After I got out of the plane, we got past the security we left off for a new adventure.
