When I got the news that we were moving to Japan, me and my brother were ecstatic. I would part-brag about it to my friends at school, and they would be amazed that I was going to move there. This was going to be the first out-of-country move, and I was excited. It was around July when we were going to start getting on planes to Japan. However, we had to fly to Washington before we could get on a plane to Japan. When we went to the airport for the Washington flight, we realized this would be tough. We had to bring our 2 dogs, Terra and Scarlet. Whenever they see new people, they become louder than trains. “Shhhhh, be quiet dogs!” We eventually put them in their kennel. We then put blankets on it so they couldn’t see people through the holes in their kennels. We got them loaded into the bottom of the plane, and we didn’t have to worry about them anymore. The flight was nice and easy. Once the plane landed, we got all of our luggage, and the dogs, and went on our way to the next plane. After nearly 2 hours of waiting, the plane was in maintenance. “Oh come on!” I nearly cried a river when I heard that the flight was canceled. We ended up getting vouchers for breakfast and dinner at a hotel near the airport. The next day, we went back to the airport and after about 3 hours this time. We found out the plane was still in maintenance. We didn’t even get vouchers this time, so we had to find a different hotel. The next day, the plane was finally ready. Me, my brother, mom, and dad were ready to get out of Washington. We boarded an American airline plane, and after about an hour, the plane took off. It was about a 10-hour flight. That would have been fine if there weren't 2 crying babies. Once the flight was over, my dad was stressed. He was bursting with anger, and he wasn’t exactly sure what to do afterward. We went through security, and we could finally go.
