Being a military child is hard and also good You have to leave Your friends and family
When you move into a new house It’s empty and damp In and out
When you unpack You can find something special Put it away on display and make yourself joyful
You can make new friends In the school Hop on in and make a change
When you get home Change into pajamas and plop in your bed Snuggle up and have a sweet dream
If you wake up maybe it’s the weekend You can have some breakfast and have some water
And then unpack some more A couple days later You have found even more Being a military child is good!
