I am a military child, and I love living overseas because of the people I've met and the experiences people living in one town could never get. For example, I make new friends from other cultures and establish bonds with diverse people. Many people I’ve met overseas have amazing stories from their culture. Living overseas has let me experience new food, languages, holidays, and historical events I didn't know existed; it is something as a kid I will never forget. It’s a part of my childhood that I know non-military kids can't experience, so I have the opportunity to tell my stories to them. It is exciting and scary sometimes because I know nothing about the new place. I will never trade living overseas for anything because then I wouldn't have the opportunities I have today.
