My Military Life

Sometimes, it’s hard being a Military Child, because my Dad leaves all the time. Most of the time, he gets home late at night. I try to find good friends when we move to somewhere new. When I have to say goodbye to my friends, I hug them really tight. My friends were heartbroken when I had to leave to come to Japan. I have lived in Mississippi north Carolina and Japan. My favorite place to live was Mississippi because I spent half my life there, and they have my favorite places, like Sonic. I like Hibachi where they cook in front of you. I also like a donut place there. If I could pick any places to live, I would choose Hawaii, Philippines, and Thailand. I’ve had lots of pets. I have 2 dogs named Coco and Teddy. My Mom was born in Texas, and my Dad was born in south Carolina. I was born in North Carolina. My favorite color is aqua marine. My favorite animals are the rottweiler, lizards, bicolor cardinal, albino snake, and silver fox. He’s been in the Navy for 13 years. He is a Chief.

My Dad is married to my beautiful Mom and has two kids, my sister and me. He has one brother. He likes to camp, hunt, and relax outside on the weekends. He loves mac-and-cheese. He does Human Resource for the Navy. The thing he likes most about working for the military is traveling. My Dad says that it is hard to move our family to different places. The most interesting thing that he’s seen in the Navy is real life American Heroes.

The thing he likes most about working in the Navy is having financial security for his family. The thing he likes the most about his children is making them laugh every day. We have Movie Night on the weekends. It’s not hard to pack up when we have to move, because we let the movers pack for us, but it is hard saying goodbye to our family and friends. My Dad’s friends reacted with excitement when he told them that we were moving to Japan. They were happy for us. He says that he and his friends look after each other. He was able to find friends quickly at our new location, because my Dad is a super nice guy.
