The Dandelions of the World drift to different places They plant their roots, only for them to be ripped up again They settle down but then must leave For a new adventure is set out for them
Those dandelions grow comfortable They enjoy their new habitat Only for it to be gone once again
But the dandelions aren’t sad For being a military child is not that bad They experience different habitats and cultures With different foods and different clothes While they don’t enjoy moving They still have fun and meet new people
The dandelion may move a lot, But that’s what makes it fun They don’t just have one, but many homes Though they may get sad, and they may be mad, But oftentimes, we are glad that We are military children!
