I show courage by overcoming the loss of a close friend. Although I am not a military-connected child, a lot of my friends have parents that work for the military which ultimately means that they will eventually transfer schools while I have to stay. I have a lot of friends who have had the effect of being a military-connected child making it more difficult to maintain a friendship than it would be for someone who does not have parents that work for the military. Many times I have wished that I went to a normal school so that I would not have to deal with losing my friends as often.
