Being a military child is awesome because you get to fly places. I have been to three places: Mississippi, Texas, and here, in Japan. It’s great. I was born on the coast of Mississippi on a base because that was where my dad worked at the time. Being a military child can also be hard because you have to leave behind your friends like my friend kathy. When I leave I will cry because I have to leave behind my friends and my teachers. Leaving behind a friend is like leaving a family member. It is really sad. Having to be a military child has its ups and downs. For example I get to try new things and new foods which I like. One thing I do not like is that when I move, and leave my family it can be scary because you do not know what could happen to them.
