Being A Military Child

I’m fine being a military child, most people move from place to place, but I don’t. I won’t be a military child for long.

People move from place to place in military life, but I don’t. Ever since I was born, I’ve been in North Carolina. My dad did move a bit before I was born. When I was 6, we moved to Japan.

Another thing I like about being a military child is that during April, the PTO gives cookies, ice cream, and other sweets to Arnn Elementary.

Being in Japan has let me experience some amazing things. One thing that I have done is eat mochi. Mochi is a type of rice cake. My favorite type of mochi is Daifuku. Sometimes, they have Japanese style red bean paste. Another thing about Japan is the Anime. Anime is really fun to watch. Sometimes I might read manga of a different series. In Japan, they also have Sushi-Go-Rounds, Where the staff put sushi on plates, and you can either grab one that is going around and around, or you can order one off the tablet they provide you. The last great thing about Japan is the Conbini. The Conbini here are awesome, they have bread, instant ramen, hygiene products, and yummy foods and drinks like Aquarius.

I’m fine being a Military child. I am glad I didn't have to move so much. I’m glad it’s ending soon.
