Being a military child is great because I get to do a lot of stuff. As a military child, I got to go to the festival on base and it was fun.

I was born in California, and when I was one year old I moved to Yokosuka, Japan. Then my sister was born, and my dad retired from the military. He began to work for the Army and that’s why we stayed in Japan. I went to school on the Atsugi base for my first and second grade. Then I started at Arnn Elementary when I was in third grade and I am still here in 4th grade.

I like being a military connected student because I like living in Japan. One thing I like about living here is the different flavors of ice cream. The flavor that I like the best is cookie cream ice cream. It is so good because it has smashed Oreo cookies in it. Another flavor I like is the orange flavor. It is good too.
