Feelings of a Military Child

I have moved three times. It is pretty cool that I got to go to Japan because most non military people need a passport and stuff and a job in order to move to Japan. When I first moved I was two years old. I moved from New York to Aberdeen Maryland. It took a couple hours. I don’t really remember what happened. It’s really weird because military children seem to move more far usually. I went to many schools. My first school I don’t remember what it was called. My second school for some reason I called it the brown house. The third school was a one floored school. It’s not normal for a child to go to three different schools in one single place, but as a military child I moved from preschool a lot. The places I lived in are New York, and the next place was Aberdeen, Maryland, the next place I went to was Bel Air, Maryland, and now I live in Sagamihara, Japan. One awesome thing is that I moved to Japan. If I was not a military child, then I probably would have not moved to these cool places.

The sad thing about being a military child is that I have to leave my friends when I move. I can make new friends and play the same game during recess. Japan is a pretty nice place. It would be pretty cool to live in Korea though. The bad thing is that I would not be able to live in a house because Camp Humphreys does not have houses.

So far, being a military child is pretty awesome! But the bad thing is when I moved here, the army did not let me live off base.

In conclusion, I like being a military child. There are pros and cons about being a military child.
