Being A Military Child

The thing about being a military child is that I move a lot and I lose friends and get friends. Also I like moving because I get a chance to explore the cultures of other states and countries. My favorite thing about moving is going on to the planes and looking out the window. One time a baby cried the whole plane ride and I didn’t like the plane ride at all. I like being a military child because I can meet new friends.

One thing I dislike about being a military child is that when I'm in Japan there is a big time difference between America and Japan. The 14 hour time difference makes it hard for me to talk to my cousin in Illinois. I do get to talk to him on the weekend mornings.

Being a military child gives me access to military bases where I can live. This means that because I live on base I am able to walk to school and play with my friends outside by myself without my mom. I didn’t get to do this when I lived in Illinois. My mom was always with me when I went to the park.

In my opinion, being a military child is good.
