I’m not a military child, but I am a military connected child because my dad is a civilian. He works for the military, so I get to do the same stuff as military children. One thing that is different is that I don’t get to move.

The good thing about being a military connected child is I get to meet new people even though I have never left Japan. I only changed schools. The first time I ever started school was in Atsugi. I only had two friends who were Evalyn (Eva) and Kristina (Tina). Now, I go to Arnn Elementary school.

The only sad part was the last day of first grade. It was the saddest day of my life. I had to leave all my new friends behind because I had to go to Arnn Elementary school and S.A.C. Now that I am at Arnn, I have a lot of new friends and I do like being at Arnn Elementary.

In conclusion, even though I left some friends behind I made different, unique, and kind friends. I don’t really like that I am a military connected child because I really would like to move to different places.
