My Military Child Story

I was born as a Military child in Sasebo, Japan. I remember my dad would always work. It was very sad because my dad wouldn't play with us and bond, but me and my sister had each other.

When I was six we moved from Sasebo to Zama, Japan. My sister cried for hours in our room, but I was pretty happy because I had never moved before.

Back in 2021, my dad still had to work in the Army so he could retire, but he was still the principal. Till this day my dad would come home late like when I go to bed. In the mornings I would check if my dad would be there. If he was, I would be filled with happiness.

One thing that is cool about being a Military child in Japan is that my mom doesn't have to worry about me. I can play all day! I can play all day because I live on base and that means we have more security. Another reason the Base is small and me and my sister know our way through the base.

In conclusion, as a Military Child It could be happy and sad, and the happy part is you get to try new foods when you move, and the sad part is that when you move you have to leave your friends.
