The good thing about being a military child is that you get to move around and explore. You also get to experience new cultures, eat new food, and celebrate new holidays. For example, Sashimi is really good. I like to eat sushi as well. Another example is being able to visit the Shinto Shrines. These shrines are very interesting and beautiful. Also, in Japan, there are celebrations for boys and girls. These celebrations land on two different days of two different months. The bad thing about being a military child is that when you move, you have to leave friends, family, and places that are important to you. It will all be okay. Sometimes I wish I was not a military child because you hear about war that you would not otherwise hear about. I wouldn’t want my parents to go to war. These are some good and bad things about being a military child. In my opinion, I like being a military child.
