Being a military child does have its perks, but sometimes there can be difficulties. Since I am a military child, I move around a lot. Moving to different places is cool at times, but sometimes I can be upset. The reason why is because I have to leave all of my old friends behind and move to this new place where I don’t know who anyone is and no one knows who I am. It can be hard trying to adjust to my new environment, but going to different places like Japan is an opportunity some kids don’t get to have. So, whenever I am upset, I try to think about how blessed I am that I get to experience meeting new people and going to different countries and states. When my parents get deployed, I’m sad and upset because they are gone, but I just try to think about how they are going to come back, and how happy I will be. And when they come back, I’m super happy. I love being a military kid.
