I am not technically a Military child, but I am part of the military community because I go to a DODEA school. Most of my friends get to go to places that I can't go to. That makes me kind of jealous because that’s fun. But I’m still a little bit military because my dad works in a military base. But neither my mom or my dad is military.

What’s good about not being full military is because my dad doesn’t need to leave for a long time like 6 months. My dad still works, but I'm

glad that he doesn't leave for a long time. Another thing that is good about being military connected is because my Dad is connected to the base I get to on and off the base, and I get to learn about American culture and Japanese culture both! And since I’ve been in Japanese school for 4 years, I know Japanese AND English. Isn’t that cool?

Those are reasons why I like being a Military connected child. Do you think it's cool?
