Killin Elementary School
It is sometimes difficult to be a military child because you miss family. For example, all of my family lives in the UnitedStates and to visit them my mom and I have to ride an extremely long airplane. Another reason it is hard to be a military child is because friends have to move often. For example Rockett is leaving this year. He’s one of my good friends and I’m going to miss him. Because friends leave often, you also have to be good at making new friends. Even though it can be hard, being a military child can also be pretty amazing! For example, you are able to travel more frequently. Just this year, I went to Australia for Christmas, Hokkaido in February, and Yokohama just last week! One of my favorite parts about Australia was I got to ride on a cruise. Also, in Hokkaido I got to go skiing And you get to meet lots of new people from around the world.
