Killin Elementary School
It’s difficult being a military sometimes. I don’t like moving a lot. Planes give me a really big headache. I miss my family and friends in the states. I REALLY miss them. It feels weird especially when you just move in. It's SO empty. It’s hard getting used to new schools. You may think you understand, but moving is complicated. Also when your parents go on deployment it just really makes you sad.
Being a military child has its upsides too. When you move you move you experience new things. When a parent comes back from deployment, you become so happy. The happiest person in the world. When my dad came back, I was so happy I cried. You may have to leave friends behind, but you make new friends too. I am having so much fun with my new friends. Now you Know the upsides and downsides to being a military child.
