Being a military child is a unique experience. You are different in a way that no other child can understand from the outside. You have a very different personality and background. You have to move everywhere and most of the time never know where home is. You also sometimes never have friends for very long. It can be tough sometimes, but there is also a good side too. The community is very different from civilian life. For example, a base is more restrictive, while a civilian community is not as restrictive. For me, Hideaki Baran, I have had difficulties trying to bear being a military child. But, like I said, there is a good side as well. The good side is that I discovered caving. I live on the island of Okinawa and I used to never like it here. Until, I met my friends who introduced me to caving. This has become my hobby. It is something easy to do and pleasurable. My experiences of caving have been interesting, especially in Okinawa. You can find historical artifacts, and much more. But, as much as it is enjoyable, there is a dangerous side as well. Some of the historical artifacts can be dangerous. Nevertheless, you do earn memories that last for a lifetime, just be smart about it. Now, I am not telling anyone to do this caving without an adult, but I encourage you to try something new safely. To conclude what I have said, do what your heart tells you and follow it, because those memories as a child will always be with you.
