As military children, we go through a lot of hard times such as moving away from friends, not seeing family, and a lot more. While we have a lot of downs there's also a lot of ups like we get to travel the globe, and we get to learn things that a lot of kids don’t. It’s sad at times but there's a lot that makes up for those times. Being a military child can be difficult at times because of moving, but at places like Okinawa there are so many cool things we get to do and see that kids that aren’t connected to the military. While we might not be able to say where we’re from we can say so many cool things. We get used to moving after a while because it's mainly adjustable except for those you're connected to. It can be really challenging to say goodbye to those you know and will miss, but there are things like phones to stay connected and you’ll meet new people in new places. We all go through the tough and not so tough but at least we have others to understand that.
