While the life of a military child has many positives, there are many sacrifices we have to make. I recently moved to Japan from the states leaving some of the greatest friends I have ever had. I had spent the last 4 years making those friend and it wasn’t like I was just moving to a state across the road either; I've moved across the world. This is feeling that no one other than another military kid will understand. It is indescribably sad. Having to leave the people you care about every couple years is very hard mentally, and is something that we shouldn't have to learn to handle, but we do.
