“ Let your dreams carry you to the sky ”

I was born in South Korea in 2016. I almost died at birth, but I fought for my life because I know my love ones prayed for me. I thank God that he gave me a second chance to live in this world and be with my family. He knew I have purpose in life. He also knew that I still have a mission in this world.

After South Korea we moved in Virginia. We stayed almost five years over there and I started my schooling at David Harrison Elementary School in Virginia. After two months of school we have to move in New York. I continue my school there and after 11 months we moved to follow my dad in Germany. He been away from us for almost a year. I am sad that we need to move again because I will not be able to see my friends especially my best friend Bella, but we assure each other that no matter what, we will still communicate to each other. I thank God for having a nice teachers and good friends back in New york. I have a nice memories with them. I will definitely miss all of them but I still have to move. I will be sad, but I just think the bright side which is I will see my dad. We finally here in Germany with my dad and Im so happy that my big brother and mom are so happy to see dad too. Finally, we are reunited and my heart is full of joy to see my family is complete again. I continued my school here and I am currently in 2nd grade right now in Netzaberg Elementary School. My teacher is Mrs. Dannieka Price. She is so nice and very kind teacher to all of us. She taught me a lot and she is my favorite teacher. As a military child, sometimes I ask my self why we keep moving and moving? Then, I realized that Im so lucky! I’m a lucky girl because my dad sacrifice to serve our country. My dad is a hero. Yes! he is a soldier and yes, we move a lot but we’re all grateful because we had a chance to travel in to a nice place too. We had a chance to see beautiful places and learned lots of different cultures. We even tried different kinds of delicious foods and most of all I’ve met lots of friends. Being a military child is a challenging. We grow and learned in a different places and survive. I just think positive and remind myself that a beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When I wake up, I take a second and see what privilege I have. Im so grateful and thankful that I’m alive and healthy. I thank God for a gift of life. I’m so blessed to have a complete family. The moment I start to realized that life is a blessing. I assure myself it will start to feel like one time spent appreciating is time worth living. I pray to God that all the military kids in this world will be blessed , together with their families and be protecting by their each angels all the time. So that wherever the army takes us, it will be alright. I wish that everyone will be strong, be patient and have faith in that way everything’s gonna be alright wherever they go. I’m so proud to be a military child and military child is awesome!
