My life as a Military Child

My experience as a military child has been interesting. My dad is in the marine cor ps and he has been in the military for almost 20 years. I’ve been a military child all my life and I have learned to do things others may or may not know how to do .

Being a military child has taught me so much. For instance, I’ve learned how to adapt to different areas around the world and understand how things work from everywhere. I’ve also been able to visit various cities and countries. However, my life as a military child has been hard but I’ve learned how to get past it and move on to new challenges. In addition, It also has led me to meet a lot of new people from different places such as Arizona, Hawaii, California, South Carolina, and Japan. I’ve experienced being able to learn different languages and cultures from all over. Although I enjoy being a military child there are some downsides like having to move every 3-4 years, parents going on deployment, packing/unpacking, and having to leave your friends behind.

Overall, my life as a military child has taught me to be able to be empathetic, adapt, learn how to make friends, and more. I am so lucky that I can travel around the world and that I’ve had so many good memories and experiences from every place I have been to.
