Life as a military child is not all it seems,

We travel the world and live out our dreams.

But with every move comes a goodbye,

To the friends we've made, memories are made

New schools, new homes, a different scene,

We learn to adapt and stay

Our parents serve with honor and pride,

We support them always, side by side.

Parents from different countries and children too

From Europe, America, and Asia we grew

We make new friends, and grow strong bonds,

And cherish the moments, to us they are fond

We learn to be strong, resilient, and brave,

And to embrace the challenges that come our way.

We may feel lonely but there are others too

They know how we feel, out of everyone, the few

So here's to the military child, young and old,

Whose stories are worth telling, and whose hearts are gold.
