Being a military child is a positive and negative thing. It can be positive because you get to meet people from other countries and I've been able to go to other countries. I have made friends from different parts of the world. Something negative is that my dad is gone a lot. He has missed birthdays, Christmases, and other important holidays. It is hard because you can get worried because your parents might get hurt or die. My dad works hard to come back safely. I know my dad thinks about us every day. I love being a military kid because at schools, when we celebrate for purple up day, I love that activity. After all, we get to see people from other places of the world and even learn about those places. So to wrap this up I like being a military child because I get to see different places and because I have made some great friends from all over Europe. I also want to thank the lord for helping my dad become who he is now. I love you Dad.
