Thanks DAD!

Me being a military child is not bad, but it isn’t easy either. For me, I like being a Military child, but there are still things I don’t like about being one. The biggest fear I have is that something can happen to my father while deployed, but I know he has a job to do and our family is strong and close. He helps with everything he cooks, he cleans, he helps all of us get up in the morning, and he is the best father I could ever ask for. My dad is great, but so is my mom, and she used to be in the military. She only left when my oldest sister, and brother were born. She stayed home to make sure they were ok, and nothing would happen to them, and she still does it now. I love her for staying home, and taking care of us while my dad is at work.

Also the things we have done as a family because we are able to move so much is amazing. We have traveled to beautiful places like Iceland, and had fun while doing it. Although being a military child might seem scary, the fun we have had makes it all worthwhile. Not only that, but thinking about seeing new places, and making new friends is great. For this I’m proud to be a military child, and no matter what happens I know that I accepted this life.
