Being a military child is fun. You get to go to different countries and visit cool places. The bad thing is that you move every 3 to 4 years and you leave your friends behind. At least you get to learn different languages and meet new people from different countries.

You also make friends from different countries and learn a lot about that country. The sad thing is that if you are from a European country when you go back to your country you need to learn the grammar of your language and if you are from Albania like me that is very hard to learn not only because of your 3-year absence but also because of the different types of conjugation. Also, it is tough because my friends back home tell me about playing football, but I am in Belgium and I can’t play with them. . I miss hanging out with my friends and playing football with them, staying up late outside and making jokes, and just having fun overall. When you go to different countries you need to make new friends all the time and sometimes it gets hard and then when you have good friends you lose them because you or they leave and there are probably zero chances of you meeting them again. Although it is a lot of fun when you go back for summer break and meet your childhood friends. You also get to see very cool places. You just say I went to Paris over the weekend like it is a normal thing and you get to go to places my friends from Albania could never go. Overall I have had a ton of fun here in Belgium.
