My life as a Military

My Life as a Military Child

My life as a military child is very adventurous and my family speaks 2 different languages because my Mother is from Kyrgyzstan, so we speak Russian and English because my father is American and I was born in North Carolina. I lived there for 5 years until my father got stationed in Belgium, I had to leave all my friends and neighbors behind. So then I had a fresh new start in a Canadian school but I was 5 and I started 1st grade and skipped kindergarten (I’m sure missed out a lot of fun ). We stayed in Belgium for 3 years and left all my friends again and moved back to North Carolina, but in a different home so I started in 4th grade. I was almost 9 (but I was always younger than everybody in the class). After 3 years IN North Carolina, my father retired after 20 Years of military work. He finally finished! So we packed and, sadly, I had to leave all my friends behind. We moved on to Florida because my parents wanted to live close to my aunt in Florida, but it turns out after 6 months of living there we didn't really like the weather there… It was way too hot there! WE left my friends there AGAIN and we all agreed to move back to Belgium because it was amazing there! So now my family lives in Belgium and we just moved in 2 months ago and it's going pretty good so far. I now joined the American School in Belgium for 7th Grade. It's great so far!
