I sat on that plane and wondered,

Was I meant to be here?

Was it all worth it just to be with family?

At least for a little while it was.

Now I’m gazing off into the sun missing home,

Wondering where the time goes and trying so hard to fit in

Asking myself why don't I feel happy?

Is it because of my childhood memories

Is it because I'm not used to the peacefulness?

Is it because I'm 14 hours away for my whole life?

I'm tired of leaving people that i’ve loved most

I just miss home.

Can I go?...
