Chloe's military experience

What does being a military child mean to you? To me being a military child means having a lot of benefits and some disadvantages. Some of the benefits are being able to travel around the world and go to school in many different places, having access to a better education system, but along with that comes many cons. And I’ll share those cons with you through my personal experience.

In my experience of being a military child, I have been to many places. I have lived in the country, I have lived in suburban areas, I have lived on islands, so I have lived in 4 different places throughout my eleven years of life. And I have made many friends throughout that time period. And due to my dads work contracts, we are almost always on the go. I have never been to a place where I have lived for more than four years. So I have had to deal with leaving my friends when moving a lot. I only still talk to two people after moving all over the globe. But I’m very glad to be a military child so that I can get all of these experiences that I have gotten over the years. I have made many friends in military base schools, and the one time I didn’t go to a military base school, the school wasn’t that good and neither were the students. And after moving here in vicenza I think that my family is going to settle here until I graduate. I think that the school here is probably my favorite school out of all of them. I have real friends and everyone is really kind here.
